San Mateo-based startup Sling Media has rolled out a new product, targeting customers who want to use Sling's devices to share video programming with others. The firm said last night at CES its new Clip+Sling technology, which will be built into the firm's Slingbox product. The new technology allows Slingbox owners to record and share portions of content to a new online portal. The service is currently in beta. Sling is backed by Allen & Co., DCM-Doll Capital Management, EchoStar Communications Corporation, Goldman Sachs, Hearst Corp., Liberty Media and Mobius Venture Capital
