Intevac Buys Spectroscopy Firm
Santa Clara-based Intevac said today that it has acquired the assets and certain liabilities of DeltaNu, LLC, a Laramie, Wyoming company that makes small footprint and handheld Raman spectroscopy instruments. DeltaNu's spectrometers are used for chemical identification in the medical diagnostics, scientific research, forensics, and industrial materials control fields. Financial terms were not disclosed. DeltaNu will operate as a subsidiary of Intevac.
