Palo Alto-based LiveOps, which develops distributed contact centers for companies, has raised $28M in a Series C funding. The venture round was led by Benchmark Capital, and also included prior investors CMEA Ventures and Menlo Ventures. The funding will go towards investments and acquisitions to accelerate the company's growth. LiveOps provides outsourced customer support services for companies, using work-from-home customer service agents. The firm is headed by former eBay COO Maynard Webb.
