Redwood City-based
LiveOps, which develops cloud-based, contact center and customer service software, said today that it has raised $30M in a debt funding round, and acquired Canadian firm
UserEvents. According to LiveOps, the debt funding came from Comerica Bank. Financial terms of the acquisition of UserEvents were not disclosed. LiveOps also said it would be splitting the company into two, separate corporate entities, LiveOps Cloud Platform, LLC and LiveOps Agent Services LLC, with one focused on cloud contact software, and the other on its on-demand agent services. LiveOps is led by Marty Beard.
