Emotiv Emerges From Stealth
San Francisco-based Emotiv, a firm developing brain computer interaction interfaces, emerged from stealth mode Tuesday night. The firm said that it has created computer interface technology that can detect and process human thoughts and non-conscious emotions. The firm said it will initially target the electronic games industry with its products, and that, to date, it has raised $6.3M from Technology Venture Partners (TVP), Epicure Capital Partners and the Australian Federal Government.
