Cypress Sells Camera Business Unit
San Jose-based Cypress Semiconductor and Sensata Technologies announced this morning that Sensata has purchased the Cypress SMaL Camera Business Unit. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SMaL Camera Technologies provides cameras and camera subsystems for the automotive market, and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The unit employs 25 people, who will be offered employment with Sensata. SMaL Camera was acquired by Cypress in 2005.
