Kongregate Gets Funding, Launches Beta
San Francisco-based Kongregate, an online games focused community focused on social features and user-uploaded games, said today that it has launched a beta of its service. The company also said it received seed funding from angel investors, including Reid Hoffman of LinkedIn, Joe Kraus of Excite and JotSpot, Jeff Clavier, and Richard Wolpert, former president of Disney Online. Amount of the seed investment was not disclosed.
