Pulse Mobile Scores $7M In Series B
San Francisco-based Pulse Mobile announced today that it has received $7M in a Series B funding for its user-generated mobile messaging and entertainment services. The funding came from Anthem Venture Partners, Draper Associates, Shea Ventures, Hikari Tsushin Group in Japan, and several other Asian and European investors. Pulse mobile said the round will go towards expanding research and development activities, supporting sales and distribution, and additional working capital. Pulse Mobile develops 3D avatars which take 2D images and turn them into animated characters.
