Pulse.io Acquired By Google
San Mateo-based Pulse.io>, a developer of mobile performance monitoring tools for app developers, has been acquired by Google, the company said today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Pulse.io said its team will work on incorporating the firm's technology into Google's ecosystem. As part of the acquisition, Pulse.io said that it would continue to make its product and support available to existing customers, although it will no longer enhance its product. Pulse.io was led by Ofer Ronen and Keith Simmons, and was backed by Plug & Play Ventures, Camp One Ventures, Mike Maples, Auren Hoffman, and other angels.
