Penguin Computing Adds $9M
San Francisco-based Penguin Computing, a provider of Linux clustering products, said today that it has closed $9M in a Series 2 financing. The round was led by vSpring Capital, and also included prior investors San Francisco Equity Partners, Weber Capital, and Convergence Partners. Ed Ekstrom of vSpring will join the company's board as part of the funding. Penguin Computing is developing cluster management software for the Linux high performance computing market.
