EchoStar, Google Partner On Automated TV Advertising
Google and satellite television provider EchoStar Communications Corporation announced this morning that the two are in a partnership to introduce a new, automated system for buying, selling, delivering, and measuring television ads. The new system, which is being deployed on EchoStar DISH Network, is the first entry of Google into television advertising. According to the firms, Google will have access to a portion of DISH Network's advertising inventory.
