Altierre Finds $17M
San Jose-based Altierre has raised $17M in a Series B round, the company said today. The round was led by D.E. Shaw Group, and also included DuPont Capital Management, ATA Ventures, Kinetic Ventures, and Labarador Ventures. Altierre is a provider of wireless infrastructure products targeted at retailers. The firm said the funding will go towards implementation of its product with major retail chains.
