Altierre Gets $21M For Wireless Technology
San Jose-based Altierre, which develops low power, long range wireless technology used by retailers, said today that it has raised $21M more in funding. The funding came from Stratim Capital and D.E. Shaw & Co., and also included ATA Ventures, DuPont Capital Management, Labrador Ventures and Kinetic Ventures. Altierre is led by Sunit Saxena, and develops wireless technology used for dynamically changing pricing at grocery stores at the aisle.
