Multiverse Raises $4.175M
Mountain View-based The Multiverse Network, a firm that is developing a network of Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOGs) and 3D virtual worlds, said today that it has raised $4.175M in a Series A funding. The round was led by Sterling Stamos Capital Management, and angel investors. Joanna Strober of Sterling Stamos will join the firm's board as part of the funding. The capital will go towards additional staff, completing its initial platform, and launch of its product.
