Multiverse Rolls MMOG Software
Mountain View-based The Multiverse Network said Thursday that it has released version 1.0 of the firm's massively multiplayer online game tool. The firm's technology allows anyone to create their own virtual world. The firm said that it is targeting its tools for both games and business purposes; the firm also announced a number of developers using its product to create their own virtual worlds, including Max Gaming Technologies, Doomsberg Entertainment, Wardog Studios, and RETRO Laboratory. Multiverse most recently raised $4.175M in venture funding in May, from Sterling Stamos Capital Management, and angel investors.
