Livermore-based Activant Solutions, a provider of business management software for the wholesale distribution industry, said that it has acquired Silk Systems, a developer of computer software for the Canadian home improvement market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Silk Systems develops ERP products, including point-of-sale, inventory control, and financial management for home improvement, wholesale distribution, and building materials.
