San Francisco-based blinkx, the online video search engine, said today that it has launched an online video advertising platform which adds context matching of content with ads. blinx said that the firm's AdHoc platform will look to match advertising to the content of videos, to more effectively place advertising against those videos. The new network will include pre-, post-, and mid-roll placement, banners, and other inventory. blinkx provides a searchable index of Internet video and TV content.
