Blade Computing Group Taps VCs
Blade.org, a blade computing industry group, said today that it has formed a new advisory board made up venture capitalists. The group, which focuses on promoting the blade computing industry, said that the board includes Acrl Everett of Accel, Bryan Wolf of Intel Capital, Kevin Fong of Mayfield, David Liddle of USVP, Lip-Bu Tan of Walden International, and Andy Kau of Walden International. Blade.org is focused on promoting the development of the blade computing market, which combine servers, storage, and networking capability onto compact, power managed blades.
