BLADE Network Technologies Acquired
Santa Clara-based BLADE Network Technologies, a developer of blade switching technology, has been acquired by IBM, IBM said today. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. BLADE is a provider of blade server and rack switches, along with related software. IBM said that around 50 percent of IBM System x BLadeCEnters currently attach to or use BLADE products, and that the two have been working together since 2002.
