Telephia Acquired By Nielsen
San Francisco-based Telephia, a provider of consumer research for the telecom and mobile media market, has been acquired. New York-based Nielsen Company announced the acquisition Wednesday, but did not disclose terms of the transaction. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter. Telephia will specifically bolster Nielsen's ability to measure the mobile content delivery industry.
