NeuroFocus Wires Into Nielsen
Berkeley-based NeuroFocus, a firm which is using electroencephalography and brain monitoring to measure advertising and marketing messages, received an investment Thursday from The Neilsen Company. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. The Nielsen Company said it will work together with NeuroFocus to develop new forms of measurement and metrics based on neuroscience. David Calhoun, CEO of Nielsen, joins the firm's board as part of the funding.
