PlanetOut Gets $26.2M In Private Placement
San Francisco-based PlanetOut said today that it has raised $26.2M in a private placement in the firm's common stock. The investment came from Special Situations Funds, Cascade Investment, L.L.C., SF Capital Partners, PAR Investment Partners LP and Allen & Company LLC. PlanetOut is a provider of online information for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender market, and is publicly listed on the NASDAQ as LGBT.
