SonicWall Completes Aventail Acquisition
Sunnyvale-based SonicWALL said Wednesday evening that it has completed its acquisition of SSL VPN provider Aventail Corporation. The acquisition was originally announced in June, and was worth $25M in cash. SonicWALL said that the Aventail team and product portfolio have become part of the firm's Network Security business unit, and will continue operations in Seattle and at a technical support center in Bangalore, India.
