San Francisco-based Pageflakes is launching a new release of the firm's personalized web widget services today, and also said that it has partnered with a number of major media outlets. The firm said that it has released "Blizzard", a new version of the firm's personalized widget service. The firm has signed on USA Today, Rolling Stone, CNN, Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Slate, AOL, Die Welt, Bild and will provide branded media widgets and pages which will be promoted by Pageflakes and its partners. Pageflakes is funded by Benchmark Capital and was founded in Germany.
