Google To Give $10M For Plug-In Hybrids
Mountain View-based Google has just announced an RFP, where it will fund for-profit companies looking to help in the commercialization of plug-in hybrid vehicles. Google said that it will award from $500,000 to $2,000,000 for companies who are developing technology that will enable widespread commercialization of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, electric vehicles and/or vehicle-to-grid solutions. Google said that it is accepting applications until October 22nd for the RFP.
