San Jose-based eBay has rolled out a new, beta version of a desktop application for its popular online auction service. eBay said that its new eBay Desktop application allows users to increase the functionality and personalization options on eBay, and runs both online and offline. The new software, which runs on Windows and Mac OS X machines, allows users to manage their listings and monitor search queries. The new software is build on Adobe AIR.
