Silicon Image Appoints New CFO
Sunnyvale-based Silicon Image said Thursday afternoon that it has hired Hal Covert as Chief Financial Officer. Covert joins the firm from Openwave Systems, where he was CFO; Covert replaces Robert R. Freeman, who announced in April that he was retiring. Covert has also served as CFO of Adobe Sytsems, Silicon Graphics, Extreme Networks, and Fortinet.
