Fat Spaniel Links With OutBack
San Jose-based renewable energy monitoring firm Fat Spaniel Technologies said yesterday that it has added a new service, which will manage solar inverters and battery systems from OutBack Power Systems. OutBack is a manufacturer of electrical inverters for the photovoltaic industry. According to Fat Spaniel, its monitoring system now communicates directly with OutBack's hardware. Fat Spaniel provides remote monitoring software and services for renewable energy systems, including solar electric, wind, geothermal, and solar water heating systems. The firm is venture backed by Chrysalix Energy and DFJ Element.
