Fat Spaniel Teams With Solar Hot Water Systems Manufacturer
San Jose-based Fat Spaniel Technologies said today that it has partnered with EnerWorks, a manufacturer of solar hot water systems, to integrate Fat Spaniel's energy monitoring and reporting services with its systems. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fat Spaniel, which is venture backed by Chrysalix Energy, Element Partners, Ignition Partners, PCG Clean Energy & Technology Fund and Applied Ventures, said that the deal will simplify installation, maintenance, and billing for North American customers. Fat Spaniel provides web-based monitoring of renewable energy systems.
