NetApp Acquires Onaro
Sunnyvale-based NetApp said this morning that it is buying Onaro, a Boston-based provider of storage software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Onaro's software is used for managing and optimizing data center storage. NetApp said that the acquisitoin is expected to close in Q1 of this year, subject to customary closing conditions. Onaro's flagship software is SANscreen, which is used for provisioning, management, and auditing of enterprise data storage. Onaro is backed by Cedar Fund and Newbury Ventures,
