has acquired Seattle-based
StackPointCloud
, a company developing software for the Kubernetes market. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. NetApp said that it would add StackPointCloud CEO Matt Baldwin, as well as other members of his team, to help the company create the NetApp Kubernetes Service, a product for multi-cloud deployment. StackPointCloud's software was used for universal control and management of Kubernetes deployments across multiple clouds, via the web.
