GT Nexus Acquires Metaship AG
Alameda-based GT Nexus said Tuesday that it has acuqired Metaship AG, a provider of third party logistics management technology. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Metaship AG was based in Hamburg, Germany, and have become the GT Nexus headquartesr for Europe. Metaship provided software for managing importers, exporters, and third party logistics providers; among the company's customers is shipper DHL. GT Nexus operates an online portal for managing trade and logistics.
