Google To Pull Nexus One From Web Store, Go Retail
Google
said Friday morning that it is planning to stop selling its Nexus One handsets via its web store, once the firm gets more retail availability of the phones. The firm said that it is moving to the same model as it's adopted in Europe, where it has offered the Nexus One through retail stores, globally. In explaining the move, Google said that "it's clear that customers like a hands-on experience before buying a phone", and that they also want a wide range of service plans to choose from.
