NVIDIA Buys AGEIA Technologies
Santa Clara-based NVIDIA said late Monday that the firm is in a definitive agreement to acquire AGEIA Technologies Inc. AGEIA develops software used for the video gaming industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. AGEIA Technologies' gaming physics software is used for games on the Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii and PC platforms. AGEIA was founded in 2002.
