Sonic Focus Acquired By ARC International
St. Albans, England-based ARC International said earlier this week that it has acquired San Jose-based Sonic Focus, a firm which develops audio enhancement technology. The deal is worth $6.5M, of which $1.5M is milestone-based earnout over the next two years. Sonic Focus develops products for enhancing digitally compressed audio. ARC International said that Sonic Focus had approximately $1.2M in revenues in fiscal year 2007.
