Agilent Acquires Two Material Science Firms
Agilent Technologies said Monday that it has acquired two firms. Agilent said that it has signed an agreement to acquire TILL Photonics GmbH, and has completed the acquisition of Colloidal Dynamics. Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclsoed. TILL Photonics develops products for the life science and fluorescence microscopy industry; Colloidal Dynamics develops particle-analysis solutions to materials science. Both firms will become part of Agilent's new Materials Science Solutions Unit, within Agilent's Life Science and Chemical Analysis business.
