Mountain View-based Google said Tuesday that it has completed its acquisition of Doubleclick. According to a statement by Google Chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt, the firm expects that they may be reductions in headcount, both in the U.S. and other regions as well. Exact impacts of the job cuts at Doubleclick were not disclosed, however Google said that timing of cuts outside the U.S. is subject to consultation with employee representation and local laws.
