Federated Media Scores $50M
Sausalito-based Federated Media Publish confirmed today that it has received a $50M investment, from Oak Investment Partners. FM Publishing, which is run by John Batelle, sells online advertising for online blog sites and publishers. According to Federated Media, the firm became profitable in the third quarter of 2007. FM Media represents online blog sites and social networking web sites and sells online ad impressions on their behalf.
