Heroku Gets $3M For Rails Software
San Francisco-based Heroku announced Thursday that the firm has raised $3M in venture funding from Redpoint Ventures and other undisclosed investors. According to the firm, it will use the funding to beef up its current offerings, expand into other parts of the development process, and build out the company. Heroku develops application software for Ruby on Rails which allows users to create, edit, and deploy code on Amazon EC2.
