Powerset Unveils Wikipedia Search
San Francisco-based search engine technology firm Powerset announced today that it has launched a new product focused on helping users search and discover information from Wikipedia. The beta of the service is the first time the firms' products have been available to the general public. Powerset said its natural language technology will help users search and discover information from Wikipedia and open database freebase. Powerset is backed by Foundation Capital, the Founders Fund, and angel investors.
