Mocana Adds $7M
San Francisco-based Mocana, a provider of security software for network devices, said today that it has raised $7M in a Series B funding. The round came from new investor Southern Cross Venture Partners, as well as existing investors Shasta Ventures. The round brings the company's total raised to $12.1M. Mocana's software is desined to be embedded into PDAs, routers, DVRs, printers, and other network-enabled devices. The firm said its customers include Dell, Nortel, Symbol and Honeywell.
