SpringSoft Merges, Acquires Firms
SpringSoft, a developer of electronic design automation (EDA) tools, said this morning that it has completed its merger with Novas Software, and acquired four EDA companies. The firm, which is based in Hsinchu Taiwan and San Jose, California, said that it has acquired ForteLink, Nanovata, Silicon Canvas, and is in the process of acquiring distribution partner Novasflow KK. Foretelink develops hardware-assisted verification technology, Nanovata IC routing technology, and Silicon Vancas custom IC design products. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
