RockYou Raises $35M
San Mateo-based RockYou said today that it has raised $35M in a Series C round of investment. The firm, which develops web widget software and other social applications, said the funding will allow it to grow its team, increase its offerings, and expands its portfolio. The round was led by DCM, and also included unnamed private investors. The firm has also previously received funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Partech International, and Sequoia Capital.
