San Francisco-absed aniBoom said Friday that it has raised $10M in a second round of funding. The new funding was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and DFJ Tamir Fishman Ventures; existing investors Evergreen Venture Partners also participated. aniBoom is an online, new media firm focused on developing short form, animation content. The firm said the new funding will go to expand operations, fund creation of content for the web and mobile platforms, and for an original animation series on television.
