Redwood City-based RingCentral, which operates a hosted business phone service, said Tuesday that it has hired on David D. Sipes as the firm's VP of Worldwide Marketing. Sipes has previously served at Branders.com, Booz Allen Hamilton, Pepsi-Cola Co., and Price Waterhouse. RingCentral is backed by Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures, DAG Ventures and European Founders Fund.
