GigaOm Buys jkOnTheRun
San Francisco-based Giga Omni Media, the company behind GigaOM, said late Tuesday that it has acquired jkOnTheRun, a consumer-focused mobile gadget blog. Financial terms were not disclosed. jkOnTheRun founders James Kendrick and Kevin Tofel will join GigaOM, becoming the sixth blog in the GigaOM network. jkOnTheRun focuses on mobile phone and other mobile technology, and was originally a side project of Kendrick and Tofel.
