GigaOm Gets $6M More
San Francisco-based GigaOm, the online news and research firm run by journalist Om Malik, said Tuesday evening that it has raised $6M in a new round of funding. The funding was led by Reed Elsevier Ventures, and also included prior investors Alloy Ventures and True Ventures. As part of the funding, Kevin Brown of Reed Elsevier Ventures has joined the company's board. GigaOm offers up commentary plus a subscription research service, GigaOm Pro.
