Rackable Systems Looks To Sell Storage Business
Fremont-based Rackable Systems, a developer of servers and storage for the data center market, said today that it is looking to divest its RapidScale line of storage solutions. The firm said the business includes patents, hardware assets, development team, and on-going business relationships. Rackable's RapidScale storage products are targeted at the clustered storage market. The firm said it has retained Strategic Advisory Services International, LLC as a financial advisor to help it seek strategic alternatives for the business.
