Ma.gnolia Goes Open source
San Francisco-based Ma.gnolia, an online social bookmarking service, said today at Gnomedex in Seattle that it will open source the firm's technology. According to the firm, it will open source the firm'new Ma.gnolia 2 re-write of the service. Ma.gnolia said it will allow people to download and "remix" the source code. Ma.gnolia said it will be posting the code for "most pieces" of the new software, although the firm did not detail which pieces would be included in the open source area.
