Sportgenic Scores $10M Series B
San Francisco-based Sportgenic, an online advertising network focused on sports enthusiasts, said Monday that the firm has closed on a $10M, Series B financing round. The round was led by Adams Street Partners, and also included Alsop Louie Partners, KPG Ventures, and Greycroft Partners. Sportgenic operations an online sports advertising network. Sportgenic said the new funding will go towards its ad network technology and to expand its sales force. The firm was formerly known as Active Athlete Media.
